Apes together strong. But for real, youre right. What is one trying to be protected from? A women's shelter might be "safe" from an abuser, but what if someone gets attacked by another woman? And safe spaces in general have become something of a joke, often seen as a coping mechanism for people who tend to not handle emotions very well. Idk.
