I'm starting to understand myself...
Which has been a bit annoying since I'm realizing that i let my spirit run wild for too long. And not in the good way. I've been guided by my own vindictivness and hedonism and ended up in a place of spite, pleasure, and arrogance. Now, this isn't all I am but a lot of what I've based my life on. That "nothing matters as long as you're happy" and "look out for you, cuz no one else will". But these "mottos" wernt true and in fact were actively harmful to my senses of self. As I untangle these negative emotions I find the person I've always wanted to be. Not as grandiose as I imagined him but sometimes thats the best part; being yourself at all times, on all stages, with all people.
