The Wolf's lament
🐺 The Wolf’s lament. 🐺 I... I am here. Always stood my ground with no fear. To the edge of the cliff near. Staring at the abyss and in my eyes not a single tear. No regrets. If you must take me to hell. Always built in a fantasy, stared too close at the picture. Do not try to lecture me, go somewhere else to play the preacher. Sorrow haunts my cold soul. Words escape my mouth, so foul... Too many eyes watching, yet not even a hand reaching. Too many tongues talking, but not a single word of healing. Laugh then or be afraid, do what you wish. I highly doubt anyone knows what it feels, your own heart to miss. All I wanted was a smile. A place to call home, mine. Thoughts, always organized, yet so confused. I am what I am. I will not make any excuse. Many were hurt, words can kill. I am sorry. I guess... It is the nature of the beast. One day maybe I will be able to see. And from this eternal torment, to be finally free. Into the fray again then, until from this world I am gone. Maidens and Gentlemen, always remember... The Wolf... The Wolf walks alone 🐺🐺 I hope you like my poem. I have many more if there are people here that like dark poetry 🐺🐺
