I've been thinking lately about the overall conceot of talking to a trained professional that has no emotional connection to you can help. Instead dumping your thoughts and trauma on randoms or people you care about. I've been dismissive in the past like most are, but recently I've been warming up to the idea because I really have nothing to lose trying it out. (edited)
