What makes positivity toxic? When times are hard and you need to be harder, should we take positivity and box it? When someone needs motivation I'll suffer with them because it's my vocation. The military is not an easy occupation With Hard work, long hours, and strained friendships and family relations But this job isn't one we can quit or flee Because a guardian of the country is what we signed up to be. It wasn't me, but what else does someone have on the battlefield? If not positivity, perhaps hope that they'll manage to live to their next meal? In short it depends on your situation But I'd much rather have any positivity than have my mind, of thoughts, be depressing or vacant.

True positivity is "Inclusive" meaning it does not deny negative emotions. Instead it incorporate and integrates them. Allows them to be there as an equally worthy perspectives that may be a choice. This toxic posititivty above seems more like a negative ideaology disguised as a positive one.
