Anyone ever meet someone who thinks it’s okay to, once you first start talking, say the words “but I know you love me”? Cause it’s almost like they are trying to take your power away and then I absolutely don’t like when if I disagree and try to express how that wasn’t okay, it’s a whole argument…

It's an old fashioned tactic. They call you pet names and just try to sort of act like you're in a relationship to try to essentially force you into one. If you call out the behavior they say you're a prude. It's a major red flag, especially if they act rude if you disagree. Your instincts were 100% right. It's a manipulation tactic 🚩
