What's a Common Misconception People Have About You?

Question

For me, it's that my common courtesy or kindness means more than what it is. Friendly doesn't equate to friendship to me. That title takes time to earn, but I can still treat you with respect in the meantime.

I'm afraid to know what other assumptions people have, as they're likely unkind.

They've mistaken my kindness for forgiveness. I can send someone off with the kindest, most venomous "never speak to me again" if they've done my loved ones wrong.

I am as friendly as a golden retriever with a pretty high tolerance of people crossing the line and am as loyal as one too. But people assume I don't have a dark side that can use words as a form of violent attack.

I smile a lot at ppl when I'm outside. Lots of Women think it's a sign of attraction and try to give me their number. I even had gf's being mad about it just because I smiled at someone.
