Growing Up With Hachi: Learning About Myself and the Love I Deserve

Last night and today, I’ve been binge-watching one of my favorite anime/manga series, NANA, and honestly, I’ve been seeing so much of myself in Nana Komatsu (Hachi). I’m 29, turning 30 next year, and rewatching the series at this point in my life has made me understand Hachi on a whole different… read more

Deception is not always lying.

Common misconception of the word "to deceive" or "deception" that it can only be that when lying. Deception however is nothing more than to have somebody else think or act based on information you've decided to share or not share, and both can be the truth. Nobody is obligated to tell you that… read more

My perspective of Emotional intelligence

When you become upset, frustrated, or sad... Your partner's role is: ☑️ To listen without making assumptions. ☑️ Not to judge anger as a sign of rejection. ☑️ To acknowledge that you need help. ☑️ To understand that you're vulnerable and in need of a hug. ☑️ To give up ego, wait for you to cool… read more

Could go both ways (man or woman) if you're the one trying... I wouldn't know, but I've seen it happen. Edit: People don't seem to understand the caption..and since there's so many new faces, they don't know I don't agree with anyone that does "gender" based assumptions. Don't come at me trying… (edited) read more

Before looking for the one, be the one.

We keep wanting for love that never fails, never cheats, loyal, faithful, emotionally available, consistent, fights for you, patient, kind, never gives up.... And we keep wishing and asking where is it? Maybe it's not for me? Maybe love never exists? Maybe I'm not to love and be loved? Maybe others… read more

An Incomplete Theory

I have a theory about you. It isn't finished. Mostly because every time I think I've reached a conclusion, You quietly wander somewhere my assumptions haven't learned to follow. I used to think silence belonged to people who had something to hide. Then I met the sort of silence that seems… (edited) read more

Just a page from my journal

Some people arrive as if they've lost their way. They find my door, step into my little corner of the world, and linger for a while. They ask questions, share stories, and study me with quiet curiosity. Others never ask at all—they simply fill the silence with their own assumptions. For a moment, I… read more

Wisdom

One trait of being wise is allowing space for the things you do not know. When you fill in spaces with your own assumptions and perspectives instead of asking questions, you end up missing things thats can be important.

Making assumptions

When u try to get to know someone, making assumptions based on what they look like, or just some silly hunch, is really unnecessary. No one likes when ppl making assumptions on them. Ure trying to get to know them? Just ask. Its off putting. Its gives the opposite result. Its not funny/amusing. Its… (edited) read more

Leaving without clarity…

🙌 Clarity allows the mind to accept what happened. Missing information does the opposite. ✍ When answers are missing, the mind fills the gaps with assumptions, doubts, and stories that may never be true. Sometimes, the damage is not the absence. It is the uncertainty left behind.

I'm not a perfect person at all.✨🌻

I'm not a perfect person at all. I'm someone who is very straightforward, a little clumsy, sometimes stubborn and a bit spoiled, but I always try to be reasonable. In many ways, my strengths can also become my weaknesses. That's why I believe it's always better to talk and communicate than to make… read more

What Remains After You Leave?

I’ve been observing the ecosystems I move through and what may remain after I’ve left. I’m not referring to leaving things or possessions, something less obvious. Literallyyyyy. I've lost track of how often I've been in this scenario with past partners of mine LMAO. Change reveal strategy….

✍️ A plan shows a direction, but its change points reveal how that direction is being shaped. ✍️ The moments when priorities, assumptions, or actions shift can expose the thinking behind the strategy. ✍️ Pay attention to where the plan changes. Those points often reveal what truly matters

Unpopular Opinion: The Bare Minimum Has Become Attractive.👀

Maybe it's just me... but I've noticed something. 🤔 Some people are amazing at starting conversations, but not so great at building them. Everyone wants a genuine connection, yet patience, communication, and emotional maturity seem to have become premium features. ❤️ Trust isn't built… read more

Here’s something I’ve learned...

There’s nothing wrong with wishing people well. And if you’re confused about a connection, sometimes it’s okay to ask: “Are we good?” Not because you’re demanding reassurance. Not because you’re trying to force anything. Just for clarity. Labels don’t always matter to society, but they can… read more

Make less assumptions of others

Can we all approach everyone online with more mindfulness?

Curiosity.

If a guy kept conversations and interactions friendly. And didn't try and to change anything from just being friendly, to more than that. Would you consider them disinterested? Or, something else? If the conversation has been going on for months at this point. And someone talks about moving or… read more

The first movie released in 2026 that I've seen. 💯% recommended.

"That's the problem with small towns. Once people decide who you are, that's it. That's why I wanna travel. You can actually be who you wanna be instead of who they say you are." ❤️ Relatable. I want to put more thought into a perfume because...

When I'm next to a stranger who smells nice, I think "ooo they smell nice," as I'm sure most people think, but it's deeper than that. Why therapists “pretend” not to understand

Have you ever tried looking at your problems from a helicopter view?

A few weeks ago, my therapist introduced me to something called the helicopter view, and it completely changed how I respond to difficult situations. Philosophy should be taught in Public Schools K-12

Philosophy is important because it teaches people how to think clearly, question assumptions, and make better decisions. My Credo

Never think for a day that you fully know someone..

Even if I can never call you mine, I just want you to know how deeply I love you, my love...

The Illusion We Called Love

Maybe the most painful part of a broken love isn’t losing the person, but realizing how much of it was built on assumptions we never questioned. Why an Anti-Narcissist Culture Would Need to be Heavily Reliant on Bottom-Up Processing.
