Adam and Eve; small rant

The story has always bugged me for a multitude of reasons. But one reason that has just made less and less sense for me is the depiction that Eve was made for Adam. Yet in no depiction was Eve ever craving Adam. If her entire soul purpose was to be a companion for Adam, than that companionship should be her entire motivation. But this isn't the case. Adam was the lonely guy; Adam was the one that craved companionship. Was the one that needed no other coercion in eating the fruit beyond his companion telling him it was a good idea. Eve on the other hand, is depicted as explorational, deviating from her originally created purpose. The coercion for fruit? Power. Revealing secrets. (Let's not even talk about Lilith 🤭) Everything about the story feels like it should be reversed. As if Adam should have been created for Eve. The man with no inherent value despite his ability to toil in the dirt and organize the animals, meanwhile his utmost genetic craving is for the companionship of another. Bred to be a worker and codependent. A drone. Genetically men have a XY chromosome. Humor the X chromosome as 4 ribs. One of them was 'taken' in order to form man; to form the Y. Man made from woman. The whole story just smells of incel-ish manipulation to me. It always has. (edited)
