What main reason?
In your opinion, what do u think the main reason is for guys wanting to date younger ladies? (Dating* not Saying...Typo in poll option 2) (edited)
Youthful looks is highly attractive (Less wrinkles)
Guys feel younger saying younger lady
Younger girl is still of child-bearing age without chances of down-syndrome kid or complications
Lady can afford more luxury expensive dates because they don't pay rent/mortgage living at home
To look cool in front of guy mates or to make their guy friends jealous
Other reasons (Please comment)

Unfortunately I think a lot of it is rooted in misogyny and the idea of a expiration date on youth and love and joy that men seem to label even themselves with. As a result, lots of much older men try to vicariously love through being a young man again through the young woman they date. It's an ick of mine.

It's simple. Women lack resources to start a family, men bring that to the table. What happens beyond that is irrelevant regarding the topic. If the problem is that he's old, then I have to say that the same could be said of the women, so he's making the sensible decision. Older women are too old to be capable of becoming trusting and dependent on a man anymore. Nobody wants to deal with the drama, especially not past 30. Whatever shame he may feel, he will get over knowing that he found someone who does not have a million problems with him, and he with her.
