Food is Love

I have always had a love for food, but nothing made me more passionate about cooking until I changed what I was cooking! I was listening to something from Thich Nhat Hanh and he said: "Try to eliminate the amount of suffering your existence inevitably creates" This spoke to me on such a deep level. Ever since then, I have used it as my inner Mantra with every single thing that I do. I tried to really reduce the amount of plastics that I use on a daily basis. I always try to understand and be kind to everything in my path. I eat a completely vegan diet as well as being very mindful about where my clothing and other items are coming from. When I started cooking vegan meals it became more exciting than before! Figuring out ways to create my favorite meals from when I was a child or veganizing recipes that I've always wanted to try has made cooking fun and exciting again! I can also feel that my health is better and my soul feels cleaner. It's so much fun to bring my omnivorous friends to vegan restaurants and have them actually enjoy the food even when they didn't think they would. Or when they come over to my place and I make them something and they're surprised that it's not meat! 😊 I don't think anyone should try to voice anyone to do anything. But all I can say is that I've never been happier I'm more content with my choices than I am right now! 🌱🙏🏽💚
