I always get customers at my job flirting with me or asking me out. I always say no thanks. I wont ever date a customer. I keep my work and personal life separate. How do you deal with this at your work place? Does it make you uncomfortable or flattered?

I think it depends on what you do for work. If you're in anything revolving around retail or customer service via restaurants and fast food, I don't see what the issue would be with dating a "customer." Working in Sales, marketing, and any other white collared field, I can understand the separation.

In general I don't flirt with customers, there is an imbalance in power when you work in a job where you are the most popular person in the room just because you work there. There is a but though. Sometimes you really connect and talk about stuff and it just clicks without flirting really. I would hate myself if I wouldn't act on that.

About a month ago I was pretty unhappy with my place of employment. Within 3 weeks I not only found a new job, but a job that came with a +19% pay increase.
Don't settle, folks. There are always better jobs out there. If you're unhappy where you are. Explore other options. Just don't leave yourself high and dry while you search out a new path.
