Hmm honestly there are so many genres. It depends what you like. But some animes that are top notch are full metal alchemist, hunter x hunter, one piece, attack on titan , Demon slayer, my hero academy, among others. These are packed with action and sci-fi. If you are into comedy the list is another type for sure.
