After years of debating, I finally decided I'm going to start one piece. How would u recommend I start. From the beginning or should I start from somewhere in particular?

I would say "start from the beginning" but advise that you hybridize your journey through it. By that I mean read the manga to go through some of it faster. (Oda's art is genuinely pretty impressive, so it's worth it for that imo) of course if you're someone who's tried reading manga before and has never really been hooked by it, disregard this... But if you do take my suggestion arcs I would say to definitely watch the anime for are: - Alabasta - Skypeia - Enies Lobby - Thriller Bark - Impel down and marineford - Dressrosa After Dressrosa you've pretty much gotten through the bulk of it, and could continue on however you please from there Regardless of whether you take that suggestion or not, go online and look up which episodes are filler, skip those when you get to them. One piece anime filler is hardly the worst filler I've ever seen but it's not really worth it most of the time, especially when you're trying to catch up 1000 episodes lol

I personally read the manga, no random filler, all awesome story. Whenever I got to a big fight, I looked up the fight and watched animation. I read it only when I had free time and got it done in about a month
