Linux alternative

Fictional scenario: Linux gets infested with low quality AI contributions, nobody takes responsability for that. Everything is completely cooked. What are the alternatives from your point of view? For me would be BSD. I used it before, I feel almost like home on that. The tools almost the same. The Desktop Environment, the same. Drivers? Ehhhhh debatable. Keep in mind there are other systems than Windows, MacOS, Linux and BSD. What would you guys and gals pick and why?

I'm on linux from 1996 i used a couple years in dual boot with win95 than definitively switched to linux only... Debian it's my favourite but yet there are problems with some apps that don't have linux version... I would never get back but also would never switch to something different cose sure there are no apps for my work on bsd

Linux for me. What distro depends on what I'm using it for. For home computer type things mint and zorin are pretty friendly. For other tasks I like cyborg,or parrot. Idk I tend to run virtual for most things. So vbox and dealers choice as long as you got the horse power for it.

Windows is now trash. If Linux became trash, too. I'd just put my pc up for sale. I'd keep the SSD. But, the rest of it can go.
