Just finished and posted my last piece of my Scandinavian folklore and Norse mythology themed Inktober, going by the official prompt list for Inktober 2023. So glad it’s done because I’m so TIRED 🥱 😆 Last day’s theme was “fire” so I gave a shot at interpreting the fire giant Surtr of Múspell. I didn’t want to make him look like a typical fire demon or a balrog (as seen in the LOTR movies), so I tried drawing a man in lower perspective, holding a sword and being on fire. It turned out decent enough but I was way out of my comfort zone as I don’t really possess any particular skill in drawing men or fire (yet).
