Loony for Luna

My Luna red hibiscus are blooming 🌺 Started these under a lamp in my room—I can't believe how far they've come. This is the payoff for all that patience.

Hibiscus, the perfect flower

An almost 2 hour labor of love without an electric mixer.

Tiramisu, but instead of coffee there is very densely steeped hibiscus tea to mimick the acidity of coffee with a higher acidity level traditionally used for tiramisu. My dominant arm hurts 😅. Only to whisk whipping cream it takes around 30 to 40 or more minutes.

Would have preferred those sandwiches with an addition of tomatoes 🍅, but as is is also good. You can eat decently even without spending much money. Hummus, chicken deli meat, cheese and salad mix. Hibiscus 🌺 tea as usual.
