Not a bad after work hike (edited)

A rare Calypso Orchid (Calypso bulbosa)

Found these today while hiking to some waterfalls down the road where I live. They have a symbiotic relationship with several fungi, one of which is morels. I didn’t find any morels with them, but they were a gift of their own just as I found them. 💚

Aftermath

Good day, found morels after a hard frost

The best mushroom to forage and eat in Ontario

Lucky to have found morels near home earlier this spring. Such a delicacy! (edited)
