What's the best way to cook New Zealand yams (oca)? Mine are almost ready and I only grew them because they look pretty. Im guessing roast is the way to go but let's hear some alternatives.

Thanksgiving dinner 🍽️

My son's ranking from most to least favorite: Mac and cheese; ribs; yams; potato salad; greens Overall he said he likes all of it. He better! I only cooked because he asked for this.

Started making dog food during covid when kibble ran out, and just never stopped. Chicken thighs and livers this week for protein, yams for carbs. Flax seed and fish oil for shiny fur.

Favorite Thanksgiving Side

For me it's gotta be the Mac & cheese but, it's not that simple at least for me. It should be paired with yams. The contrast of savory & sweet just does it for me & with complete it with a roll now we're rolling.
