What’s Your Fave Animated Movie?
Since animation doesn’t usually receive the artistic recognition it deserves, I’d love to hear you ramble about your most beloved animated film. Mine is The Last Unicorn (1982). The mood and imagery evoked throughout is unworldly and poignant, and it explores loneliness, yearning, and feeling Othered in a world you thought was made to hold you. It cuts to my soul every time.
