I used to believe I understood people well. I analyzed their thoughts, read between the lines, searched for patterns in behavior—but in the end, I kept making the same mistakes. Whether in friendships or love, I overcomplicated things to the point where, sometimes... it pushed me further away from others.  

💭 I Overthink Everything  
I analyze so much that I forget the most important thing—listening. I assume I understand how people feel, but sometimes, I get it completely wrong. The worst part? I unconsciously make decisions on behalf of others without even realizing it.  

🚧 I Build Walls Without Noticing  
I hate rejection, so I avoid opening up. I convince myself that isolation is a form of self-protection, but in reality, it’s just a cage I’ve built for myself. I want meaningful connections, yet I end up pushing people away without meaning to.  

🤖 I Rely on Logic More Than Emotion  
I thought if I could understand the mechanics of relationships, I could control them. I try to solve problems rationally, but I forget that sometimes, people don’t need advice or solutions—they just need someone to listen.  

😶‍🌫️ I'm Afraid of My Own Vulnerability  
I don’t want to show that I need someone, because I fear it’ll make me look weak. I’m scared that opening up will lead to rejection, misunderstandings, or being seen as unworthy. So, I act as if I don’t need anyone, even though, deep down, I crave meaningful relationships more than I’d like to admit.  

🔥 In the End... I'm Not Smart at All When It Comes to This  
I can break down complex logic and analyze hidden patterns, yet when it comes to feelings, I fail over and over again.  

Maybe… relationships aren’t something to be understood through reason alone. Maybe they’re about accepting that people aren’t perfect—and sometimes, just being there for someone matters more than any words or analysis ever could.

You know that feeling you get when a song just moves you? Sometimes music reminds you of what you want in life and in love. Right now that song for me is 'Wanna be Yours' by Artic Monkeys, which I have on repeat. It's one of those songs that describe the kind of partner I want to have and be one day.

Music is Not about the taste

A friend of mine and I were swapping music and they suddenly stopped after a few songs. They told me "I don't think you will like my kind of music." I said, "why?" They pointed out that all of the music I shared were happy, upbeat or love songs. Their's were the opposite. I couldn't deny the differences. 
Even though I listen to most genres of music I tend to gravitate to upbeat songs that make me want to dance.
