Tonight I practice

Never be afraid to practice with your gear. I'm camping in my yard tonight just to try all of my equipment before the big trip. Currently I'm cooking a tomato soup with vermicelli noodles on the Esbit stove, paired with some hot cocoa. Afterwards, I'll crawl into the ultralight tent to watch a movie on my phone and then sleep to test the overnight condensation. This will tell you how well your tent "breathes". It is an important step because you never want to store a wet tent. It WILL mold.
