Would you listen to your heart or your mind?
If you ever watched that film with Robin Williams called "Dead Poets Society" then you probably know of this quote too: "Medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for." I find it odd how the values from poems, movies and music resonate with us, yet we are too afraid to also appreciate them in our day to day life or pursue them. As the world is busy with simple survival, not feeling comfortable showing emotions or (sadly) being superficial or filled with vanity.
