The morality behind art
Must art have morality? In separating the artist from the art, is the artists morality separated from the art they produce? Could what Hitler is construed as in history hundreds of years down the line, for what he has done, be considered art? Is there a line?

If we consider that art equals beauty, then there's art in many man-made things. Even in nature and randomness we can see beauty in many things, including that certain macabre interest we may have in more... "dark" stuff. Even in d*ath there's beauty. However, the fact that something can be considered beautiful from a certain point of view doesn't justify sh*t. If the most beautiful painting in the world were painted with the blood of a hundred babies, I don't care about how pretty it looks - it's an abomination. Morality is tied to humanity as much as artistic expression, and it'd be a mistake to try and separate one from another

Art has nothing to do with morality, other than beeing able to show moral or immoral acts. Most people confuse morality with "things they like or don't like". Hitler committed crimes, his paintings didn't. Some people might find it offensive to show art made by Hitler, but this is not a moral issue.
