I wrote a poem about Ghosting.

Sun and Moon A perfect bond, a couple of infinite worth - It was the lovely Moon and the perfect Earth. Eternally dancing with each other in circles, Invisible arms embraced, seemingly no hurdles. A meteor observed this, a desire became a need. The other planets also saw the bond and envied. The meteor, with hope and desire, Goal in mind was the sun's fire. The meteor approached a planet on the way. It saw the lush green and wanted to stay. It told its beauty compared to no one, But still, it was attracted to the sun. Rather than tell its reason for abandonment, Without a trace towards the sun it went. The planet, confused without proper closure, Formed a caustic shield to block further exposure. Along with beauty, victory and battle became its game. Armed with vengeance to any other, Venus was its name. The meteor approached a second, Attracted by its welcoming beckon. The bond held a few conversations not shallow, But the sun's attraction was still stronger so. Without a word it vanished towards the hot star, Leaving the planet to blame itself for going too far. It removed its atmosphere and lowered its guard, In hopes of preventing others to see it scarred. Another had come, and another collided, Until full of scrapes, the name Mercury was decided. The meteor was approaching the sun soon. A silly rock, it never knew what it took to be a moon. The ever ebbing emotions of Earth's situations Are understood by the Moon's daily phases. In its naïveté, it hurt the others along the way, But it didn't stop it from chasing the sun anyway. It still attempted and failed, blinded by lust. As it was absorbed and evaporated into liquid rust.
