Am I alone here?

I honestly don't know why I try dating apps, the amount of messages and likes I send trying to just start a simple conversation, compared to responses(aka none) I get back hits pretty hard in my self image. Like I know I'm not the best looking or anything but man do these apps make me feel undesirable and unwanted. Anyone else feel this way as well, or is it just me?
