Anxiety: One thing you have found helpful
Hi there! Recently I found myself more anxious then usual, perhaps due to the changes in weather, although I really love the rain and thunder. I wanted to ask if anyone has a good mechanism to deal with mild anxiety attacks that does not have a strong reason behind, just a clutter of thoughts π

Find someone that is willing to be there just so that you can get all those thoughts out. I tell people they donβt even have to listen nor respond much, because it would be gibberish mostly. This helps me prevent chest pains and an attack spiralling into a full blown anxiety attack. I havenβt yet found anyone that is willing to be there for me, but i know that helps.

Distraction, 100%. But also, try to let it have it's course if/when you can. It has been helpful to me to figure out the reason behind. Sometimes it's direct, sometimes something else brings up random thoughts. Sometimes it's something that passed which you cannot change, but that understanding is missing.
