One thing I never understood about romantic relationships is when your friend gets a new boyfriend/girlfriend and they suddenly forget that you exist. It's like they don't acknowledge the fact that you've been knowing them longer than their new boyfriend/girlfriend.

Mm that’s a difficult situation with different reasons. 1. They could be attracted to you or their SO doesn’t feel secure with your closeness (this can be a healthy or unhealthy kind of jealousy. Depends on the person) 2. They could just be setting much needed boundaries. I mean admit it. If you were dating someone, and they hung out alone with their guy friend, that’d be wrong, right? 3. They’re just in the “love bubble.” And that’s ok. Just schedule time on like a double date or all together. Or just give them time to just be in that person’s presence. ..there maybe other reasons but those are some possibilities.
