In the US, there are roughly two open jobs for each unemployed worker
What do you think will happen as a result of this? Will the jobs get automated as employers figure out how to accomplish more with fewer employees? Will employers raise worker pay to entice people off the sidelines? Or something else?

I'm too old and over qualified... No one wants to hire me because they feel intimated... And yet the people who are working... If they do half a job it seems like there inconvenced, especially on the phone... Especially when my children need something... Why do I have to do your job? How come I'm not getting a paycheck? I can sit back and do nothing... Why don't you hire me? Ohh... I'm not a good fit 😕
