Finding reasons to go on
On a board made of colored pencils I surf in life... The waves can get wildly tall But I always handle them... The sea can be cruel and dark So deep there's not a sound but once I look close enough there's a tiny spark of light. I'm never an optimistic fool, I'm never too happy... I've learned to be extra cautious, not to get too much hope in me.... But at the end of the day I know the light comes from within so I find reasons to smile, to sing, to dance, to rise... And maybe the bad outweighs the good and I feel like giving up everyday but a flash of art and food and love kind of helps me stay.... 💜📝✨☁️💫💅🧚♀️🐼🍁🌸🍒🍕🍟🍔🍩☃️🌨️🎈🧬📚📽️📱🎼🎤🎁☔❄️🌠🌙🥀👩🏻🏫💋🌆🌍 Let me know what u think of my writing :)
