Mannen vergeten weleens Dat vrouwen die kinderen hebben, heel anders in het leven staan dan de meeste mannen. En voordat er nu mensen gaan roepen, er zijn ook goede vaders, daar twijfel ik niet aan, alle respekt voor de mannen die aanwezig zijn ! Maar als wij heel eerlijk zijn, word er van vrouwen verwacht dat vrouwen goede moeders zijn. Zodra die wandelwagen daar is, dan is de voornaam opeens mama, je wordt gemaakt tot een steunpilaar voor de kinderen. Hoevaak word er tegen mij gezegd, o jij bent de moeder van, jij bent die vrouw die meehelpt bij schoolaktiviteiten, de mama van. Je hele leven draait om het opvoeden van je kinderen en alle problemen die daarbij komen kijken. Steeds meer vrouwen moeten het alleen doen, en ja het is fijn als je een keer in de 14 dagen je kinderen even een wekkendje bij papa kan stoppen. Maar wat als je als vrouw deze mogelijkheid niet hebt ? Dan word de druk alleen maar groter. Er word verwacht dat je een moeder bent, het huishouden kunt doen en een baan hebt. Want o als je niet werkt, dan ben je zo'n uitkeringtrekker. De druk van de maatschappij om een goede moeder te zijn. zorgt ervoor dat je soms te moe bent om de dagen door te komen, want je kunt nooit eens uitschakelen, even ademen. En dan komt het daten, je probeerd weer een weg te vinden om een vrouw te zijn, maar hoe gaat dit ? Als je 24 uur per dag mama hoort, en het voor hen niet belangrijk is of jij je nagels hebt gedaan of eens een keer uitgaat naar de film. Zij verwachten dat mama er altijd is. Zodra je ogen opengaan, ben je moeder, niet een vrouw. Er word aan je getrokken waardoor je vergeet hoe het is om iets anders te doen. Ik heb jaren voorbij laten gaan omdat ik vond dat ik op de eerste plaats moeder moest zijn. En nu mijn kinderen oud genoeg zijn om zichzelf te redden, komt het gevoel dat je wel iemand naast je wilt hebben. Maar wie is die vrouw en wat kan zij bieden, durf ik het moederzijn een stuk los te laten. Waarom ik dit schrijf, ik hoop dat mannen beter begrijpen hoe moeilijk en angstig het is om weer te gaan daten. Dat het tijd kost om weer een vrouw te worden, het gevoel dat je iemand anders mag zijn dan mama. Vaak willen mannen gelijk daten, gelijk op een koffie, zij verwachten dat je die vrouw bent, die je zou kunnen zijn als je geen kinderen hebt. Want hoe kan een man begrijpen hoe het is om 24 uur per dag, niet die vrouw te kunnen zijn, jarenlang. Dat is niet met een paar berichtjes opzij te zetten. Deze onzekerheid, omdat niemand in jaren jouw zo erkend heeft. Het is altijd de mama van....de vergeten naam omdat je een verzorgster bent van. De patronen, het ritme van moeder zijn, is niet zomaar te doorbreken. Als een vader wegstapt van zijn kinderen, is het een klootzak, maar als je als moeder fouten maakt, ben je een slechte moeder en is dit een schande. Wij vrouwen, en ook sommige vaders, worden neergezet als diegene die alles aan moet kunnen. En als er dan ook nog een achtergrond is, zoals bijvoorbeeld geweld, dan is het nog een stap moeilijker. Want hoe kun je iemand vertrouwen, als je bang bent voor mannen, als je kinderen bang zijn voor mannen. En al die opmerkingen van, ik ben niet zo, niet alle mannen zijn niet zo, je moet er nu maar eens over ophouden, jij hebt een rugzak die te zwaar is. Het helpt niet, vrouwen blijven vaak alleen omdat zij in het, wat als hij ook zo is, leven. Voor alle ouders die elke dag de moeder/vader zijn van, het ligt niet aan jullie, en de eenzaamheid in dit alles kan soms zo groot zijn. Ik kan niets doen om dit te veranderen, ook ik ben bang voor de verkeerde keuze, de verkeerde man, weer een man die mijn kinderen en mij breekt, nadat wij zo hard hebben moeten vechten om weer een beetje op te bouwen. Toch zou ik willen zeggen, spring niet zomaar in een relatie omdat je niet alleen wilt zijn. Ik zie zoveel mensen om mij heen die na een relatie breuk, gelijk weer in de volgende stappen. Relatie na relatie hebben omdat zij zo graag willen. Je bent meer waard dan dat. ik ben 13 jaar alleen, soms verlang ik echt wel naar iemand in mijn leven maar ik word er moe van dat ik steeds dezelfde vragen krijg als ik vertel hoelang ik single ben. Het lijkt wel of dit een soort schande is, alsof je vervloekt bent, want waarom heb je nooit meer iemand gehad. Nou ik hoop dat het hiermee duidelijk is. Ik ben doodgewoon bang, bang voor wie ik ben. Want wie ben ik als vrouw dan als je 25 jaar lang alleen maar moeder bent en je niet anders dan geweld kent. Maar weet je, juist mensen die dit soort dingen meemaken, zijn de mensen die het hardste lief hebben, die niet 100 procent maar 1000 procent geven. Nadeel is alleen dat ook juist deze mensen vaak niet begrijpen dat zij een waarde hebben, dat zij niet tevreden hoeven te zijn met wat op hun weg komt. Want heel eerlijk, ik ben liever 13 jaar single dan 13 keer gebroken te worden omdat een relatie niet werkt. Ik weet dat ik moeilijk bereikbaar ben, dat ik voor de meeste mensen keihard overkom, dat ik teveel eisen heb, of dat te eerlijk ben in mijn mening. En dit zorgt er waarschijnlijk voor dat ik misschien nooit meer iemand vindt die bij mij past. Ik kan alleen maar hopen dat er iemand is, die begrijpen wil dat je als moeder, niet zomaar een vrouw kunt zijn die dit los kan laten. Mij aanspreken is geen probleem, maar weet dat 25 jaar moeder zijn, zijn tol heeft gekost. Wees respectvol, begripvol, en neem de tijd. Want ookal denkt je alleen maar aan het daten van een vrouw, voor haar is het meer dan dat. Het is de overweging, kan ik het risico nemen, ik heb nog altijd de kinderen. En vaak hebben de mannen deze uitdaging niet. Dus vrouwen, stap op, zorg weer voor jezelf, zeg hoe je heet als iemand je als de mama van noemt, ga weer uit, ook alleen, je weet nooit wie je treft. Want na jarenlang op verschillende datingapps, is wel duidelijk, mensen doen zich anders voor dan in het echte leven. Wees weer een vrouw naast het moederzijn, het mag, het kan en het moet gewoon. Je leefd niet alleen om moeder te zijn, ookal verwachten mensen dit wel van je. Heel veel liefde, warmte en voor zelfvertrouwen gewenst.
