I wonder sometimes

Do older dogs feel as if they are puppies again when they get the zoomies or are just doing something with higher energy? My pup is almost 11, his hips have started bothering him, but he has the same enthusiasm. If dog is god, I'm glad one decided to be by my side 🐕🫂
