I think it belongs in the wild, nature made it wild and free like it made humans free, sure, if an animal is born in captivity, he knows nothing more than those surroundings, but in a selfish way, we all want a specie or another to have as a domestic animal, who knows what those animals feel when poachers invade their natural habitats to kill their parents and steal them away just because some rich ass sheikh wants a lion or tiger pup

I've always thought about domestication of wild animals like how we have domesticated wolves/dogs. Though it seems plausible, the resources involved would be astronomical with also the potentials of injuries and fatalities. Through selective breeding I don't see why we wouldn't be able to have tiny versions of beers running around in our living rooms.
