Crush advice

So I went on two dinner dates with a friend of a friend, but he's not much of a texter which has me a bit worried. I really shouldn't be complaining cuz the first date I went on with him I took two Excedrin on an empty stomach and ended up having to throw his door open jump out and puke my guts out when we got to the restaurant. Even after that, he's still wanted to do the date and even asked me on a second date. But it's been so long since I've been on a date I can't tell if he's interested in me as just a friend or more. There's certain questions that I've asked that he avoids answering which concerns me a bit. However, in person I don't seem to have that problem with him. Am I being let on or is he just trying to take his time and get to know me? Need advice. I do have a problem with overthinking and overanalyzing situations.

@Bettyjo you can casually ask him, be simple about it and maybe lead with that and then continue onto the rest of your questions. Next time you hang out a casual "so, I don't think you ever mentioned it but i got kinda curious, are you seeing anyone?" Or something like that. And that's how you could casually test the waters, and then lead into other things. (Like seeing how he views you, or if he's interested) What I will say is: guys can be shy, and hesitant to openly share how they feel about a girl (I know I am at times, for sure) but you asking and you being forward isn't gonna scare any guy off. If he's interested he will more than likely jump at the chance! And if not, he definitely won't be scared away.

If it's been more than two weeks since last date I'd say he felt obligated to pursue it because he felt bad for you puking. If you've asked anything and not gotten an affirmative response then he's not all in by any means
