Wanting to learn
Hello! I have been wanting to try dnd for a while now, I don’t really know how it works or where to start. Any advices or tips? Also I’ll be happy to form a small party of beginners as well! ^^

The most important thing is to have fun and find a character that really fits you. Seriously, everything else comes a lot easier when you’re having fun. It took me a while to really immerse myself in a character (played through several campaigns that were fine, but not like I expected them to be, y’know?) but once I found my rythym everything else just clicked. I went from feeling awkward in rp moments to going out of my way to initiate them. And rules like damage and abilities and all that? You only really need repetition to get that stuff. Don’t worry that stuff too much and just focus on finding your rythym

Behold the huge goliath barbarian.
I used dnd one golaith and used the feature which let's u go large than I grabbed a potion of growth and became huge. I didn't deal below 30 damage at level 5 for the entire combat. (I'm the wallet)

DND backflip
In a one shot I made, a friend of mines character always did backflips when he did a good roll. He climbed a rope, got excited, did a backflip, rolled badly, hurt his ankle and had disadvantage on anything physical from there on out. Pretty funny, though in the moment half of the room facepalmed 👍

I nvr knew being a wizard isn't easy.
Of coz dummy, its coz you never read the player's handbook. What is the spell I can learn? My DM says i cannot prepare or learn any kind of spells. So if im an evoker, does that mean I only learn evocation spells. But I want to learn some necromancy and abjuration or other school. (edited)
