I was at a LARP event last weekend. One of the participants took pictures. This, to my knowledge, is the only one of me. To be fair, my character did not do much of note this event, and I don't have a full costume like many of the other players do, so I would not have been an interesting subject to photograph.

Little Tournament

Been playing at Fields of Illusion for the last year or so now, been to 3 events and coming up to the fourth in August. Been going as a pirate called Silvershot, but he's more scholar than pirate - no combat skills (as in taken in system) just lots of languages and a little more hardy than most... because he keeps being put on the front line... the librarian keeps being put on the front line! Haha its some great fun, starting to delve into high magic at the moment.

When I first got this mask it had no horns, no scars, it was in fact more resembling of a badger. I modified the hell out of it to make it fit the Rat Ogre I wanted to be.

You're packing for LARP, what is the one thing you always bring?

I joined a Larp group about a year ago and I'm just about finished with my outfit for it! Here's what it looked like in the last game I did!

In the UK, at least, all the major fest larps have reached the end of their mainlines, with smaller larps and faction events still ongoing. So what are your favourite moments from the year?

I think my highlight has to be at Unfinished Tome when my ritual to find out more about a so-called 'Song of Salvation' which turned out to be a resurrection rite, and then being able to learn it, before another player came back in their death count and I was able to bring them back and reveal the knowledge of what I'd learned in the most stressful but exciting way possible!
