Chicken nuggets are the ground up remains after the good meat is removed for things such as, coincidentally, chicken strips. This is why it's common for nuggets to have bone and cartilage and other parts of a chicken that we usually don't eat. Basically it's the chicken industry's answer to "what do we do with the leftovers bits?" I'll stick with chicken strips, thank you.
