Yesterday was November 11th, and in Korea that means Pepero Day. Not sure if you’ve heard of it, but yeah, basically you give these thin cookie sticks to people you like or appreciate.

And honestly… we all know it’s just a big marketing thing by the companies lol. Everyone knows.
But still, it’s kind of cute, you know? It makes it easier to show affection, so I kinda just go along with it.

Apparently November 11th is Veterans Day in the US?
I didn’t know that at all, so I was like, oh wow.

I was hurrying to the office, grabbed an auto and then I met her.
She smiled at me saying I looked so much like her when she was at my age. I thought she was thinking that I'm some college girl and then she said this out of nowhere, "Everyone said I'd die giving birth". 
How young might she be at that time? 
But booommm reality hit me like truck-kun 'I'm no more a stupid teenager, I am at the age where I can give birth too'. One thing that she told me stuck in my mind, "We get what we say a big no to". I agreed with her. It's a sad reality and she said it with a smile. 
What she was hiding behind it? 
We shared a few words, she told me a little about her daughter who's currently studying B.tech and we parted ways. 
I wonder how much did she sacrificed to be here, just to get her share of happiness. 
I never thought I could relate to someone so badly. She felt like my lost twin lol 😂 
But I know this she and I, we'll get through this. We'll get through everything. We'll be in denial, we'll be late but there will be never. We'll smile through our sorrows, not because we have to but because we want to. And the end of the day, we stay alive and won't let ourselves die because it's always us to us no matter what.
Hope I'll tell a different story from her when I get to her age.
But I'll definitely smile as warmly as she smiled at me.
