Seeking friends

I really need help. I have been without a friend for almost 3 years, and I long for friendship. I treat others with kindness, but I can be a little introverted. I have autism, so that might be part of my challenge. How can I make friends as a 31-year-old? Any advice would be appreciated.

If the secret is self-love, do you find yourself in the wrong situation still?

I don't know, I've only been working on it for couple years. I let go of 90% toxic and outdated things that doesn't align to my highest good anymore. Yet, I still trust easily and falling into similar situation but less detrimental to say the least. Or is it just the timing of things?
