I guess this is vent numero dos

(Reposting without swearing because I feel like my previous one was hidden because of it.) One of my exes said something to me once, and it's replayed inside my head ever since: "You know I'm not a replacement for Ashley, right?" I told her she wasn't. But sometimes I wonder, was… read more

Just a vent I suppose

I went through losing my Girlfriend Ashley to suicide when I was 16 But it might be more accurate to say that I had reason to believe she did, but never had a way to find the answer out for sure. Even in the end, when they were no longer the same person I had been with, I still at least felt… read more

My family and I have started this year with sorrow. My dad went into hospital just before Christmas needing an emergency op but wasn't strong enough to recover. We lost him on the 30th. It was so sudden. Don't leave your words unsaid.... It could be too late.

Tomorrow will be exactly 6mths since Dad passed. It will be a year of firsts. We had a start of a new year just two days after he passed. Our birthdays, Father's Day and anniversary of mums passing in the first half year. I have a holiday booked that I was taking dad on, specially chosen for his… read more

“When you experience loss, people say you’ll move through the 5 stages of grief Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance. What they don’t tell you is that you’ll cycle through them all every day.” ~Ranata Suzuki
