I prefer when people just tell something interesting about themselves like I do, but a lot of people find that offensive as if not interrogating them about potentially uncomfortable topics means not interested. They just need to learn basic communication skills. What's the point in asking 100 questions only to get "nope, nothing, not really, not that either, oh you brought me painful memories..."
