No luck
I was hoping that I would be able to make new friends with coworkers once I got a nondigital job, but, I haven't had any luck. The people at my job are entirely different from me in the way they spend their time and interact with people. But that leaves me back at my problem from two years ago, of not having any idea how to find people to be friends with. I'm not a student, my neighbors aren't even close to my age, my coworkers are incompatible with me, and the churches near me are almost completely devoid of people under the age of 40. I don't drink, so bars wouldn't be ideal for me. My local gaming store closed months ago, so I can't go there to find people with similar interests. I've exhausted all of the local potential matches on this app as well as four other dating apps. I really don't know how to meet people that I would get along with.

really sorry to hear this. it's true it can be frustrating and confusing to find genuine connections 😔 you can tell me if this is good advice or not, but one thing ive learned is that it's easier to make friends if you make the initial effort to show a genuine interest in the other person first, and then maybe they'll reciprocate. asking questions is always a good way to get people to open up, because people love talking about themselves. it just takes an open mind and some creativity to connect the threads between yourself and another person, but it can happen! good luck! 🙂
