I can relate. Iāve apparently triggered people on this platform with some of my posts. Iāve had a mindfulness meditation practice from years. Iām well aware of how little control people have over their thoughts. I examine mine. I think theyāre mostly rational most of the time, but I certainly donāt think I deserve to be judged harshly and ridiculed because of them. I have pointed out that Ad Hominem says more about the person using it than the person theyāre attacking. If you get triggered by something someone says, itās because you have a problem, not them. Thereās no shame in seeking professional help. Anger is a punishment we give to ourselves over someone elseās behavior.
