Why not?
I bust my ass at work. Often doing several people's jobs. A coworker came to me, and said, "you know, everyone can be like you. Lose hundreds of lbs of fat, work like a beast, take charge. But they won't. Their too lazy." And it broke my heart. Who would choose not to be a beast? Everyone has the ability to absolutely dominate! So make it!

I can't see any reason I would ever want to bust my ass or be a "beast" at work, considering most people's jobs are things that don't interest them too much, what reason would i have, as one of those people to do this? If it's something I really enjoy and genuinely love, I'd probably do it with a lot more interest, sure. But I can't see myself using the word dominate to describe it.
