Definitely think I'm more partial to epicureanism. That said, I think there is something to be learned from both ways of thinking. I feel that there isn't really much value in having a philosophy to "live by". It seems like "living by" a philosophy would imply a sort of static frame of thinking. A more dynamic approach where one questions and grows seems vastly superior to me.
