I've had some rough experiences as well, but from talking to monogamous friends who've been through the dating game, and especially online, dating as an adult is just tough to navigate. Having much more limited time as an adult as a resource I think makes people more conscientious of how they spend their time, and people in general tend to be conflict averse, so ghosting becomes the more preferable option. Hang in there.

Boyfriend is spending the night with another partner
