Checking the Profile First

Does anybody else sometimes check the profile before commenting on a post just in case the original poster might want to shoot their shot? And then sometimes not commenting because you don't want the original poster reaching out? 😶‍🌫️

I consider it as a community first so while I might check their profile for idealogy before engaging/posting, I don't really care who looks at my profile or if they message me. It isn't as if this is yugioh and a message request is a trap card. Can always ignore it. Same way I feel about piping in on stuff irl.

I always check profiles. Mainly for locations and age. It helps to understand the posts.

No i view posting here as social and community, so i respond when i feel i have something to say about it

I'm rather new here and I would think that would be common sense. Read the profile, look at the picture and put your senses to work and figure out what type of person did you come across and if they are worth the effort of engaging with.
