Whispers of Absence (self written)
The shadows deepen, the world grows cold, And memories of the light take hold. We mourn the loss, we feel the pain, And wonder if we'll see it again. The world seems colder, lonelier too, When the ones we love bid us adieu. Their absence echoes through the night, A haunting reminder of their light. Oh, how we wish they were still here, To chase away our doubts and fears. But all we're left with is a void, A gaping hole that can't be avoided
