In shadows deep where passions dwell, A boy once lived, in love he fell. Enamored by beauty's alluring guise, He gazed upon the stars in their skies. Each woman's grace he could not resist, Their stunning charm left him amiss. He danced like a puppet, strings pulled tight, Doing all he could to make things right. But love's cruel game, a wicked play, Each time he tried, they led astray. For in his heart, a tempest brewed, A whirlwind of desire that ensued. With hearts so fragile, he gave his all, But all he gained was a bitter gall. A slap in the face, a heart shattered, He learned love's depths could leave him battered. The boy turned man, his switch was flipped, No longer led by emotions gripped. He built a fortress, cold and stern, Resolving not to yearn and burn. Yet beauty's spell, a haunting trance, Still held him captive in its dance. He tried to keep his composure tight, But their allure, like stars at night. He wrestled with his inner war, Desire's flame he would ignore. To keep it cool, and steady gaze, But sometimes, rules would start to fray. As passion surged, his heartstrings played, Within his soul, a storm conveyed. He yearned to break free from his chains, But love's allure left him in pains. Thus, he walks a path askew, Embracing darkness, love now eschewed. A man of mystery, shadows deep, Where secrets and desires creep. In the edgy night, he roams alone, A masterpiece of scars he's shown. A story etched on heart and skin, Of love's loss and the wars within. The boy who loved too quickly bright, Now keeps his heart locked out of sight. For in this dark and shadowed zone, He's become a man, hardened stone.
