It's My Birthday..

Abd I'm spending it alone. It's also the first birthday without my dad since he passed away last December. It doesn't feel right. But happy birthday to me I guess. Made it to level 34.

Wishing for brighter 53 years on this not so happy birthday. Still reflecting on the memories and the sadness where there were once candles, now, there's only tears. Faking a smile for the world to see even though my heart is heavy. Another year older and I wish the pain won't be the same. (edited)

Is it weird to not want to go to work on your birthday?

My roommate works with me and she might make a big deal out of it. Also, I feel sloghtly out of the group at work and don't want like... false niceness because its my birthday. I'm a grown man I don't really want people makong a fuss over the earth revolving another year <___<

A suprise

My co-worker brought in cupcakes for me and two other co-workers that had a birthday this month. Before I ate a cupcake she announced proudly that she lied to get the cupcakes for the surprise. Why is this is a fun thing? This is literally a lie. Not eating one. Gross, gross, gross. (edited)
